The International Assembly is an Associated Group of National Council for the Social Studies. IA provides an opportunity for social educators from international regions to discuss the international dimensions of the Social Studies. International Assembly membership is open to all NCSS Members who are interested in the development and implementation of social studies within the Global Village.
The Journal of International Social Studies serves as a forum to present and discuss common concerns and heighten awareness of the international, global, and transnational nature of issues in social education.
